Provide a smooth and stable stainless steel handrail along the top of your glass balustrade and give visitors a sense of security as they enjoy the beautiful views.

Perfect for use on raised decks and balconies, the steel handrail has a modern 400 grit brushed satin finish which feels ultra-smooth to the touch, and is made of exterior grade 316 stainless steel with 2% molybdenum for added corrosion resistance.

While 316 stainless steel is renowned for its corrosion resistance, it is not immune to the potentially corrosive effects of exposure to salt, particularly in coastal areas. While it may provide enhanced protection compared to 304 stainless steel, the relentless presence of salt in sea air and its corrosive nature can still impact the material. Therefore, we do not recommend installing 316 stainless steel balustrade railings within a 10 mile proximity to the sea.

The steel handrail is supplied as a 4 metre length of 42.4mm diameter tube which can be cut down to size as needed, or joined to other lengths with a straight or angled joint. To connect the handrail to a post bracket, the railing should be pre-drilled and fixed securely in position with easily available pop rivets.
